The building has been adapted over the centuries but has retained its historic character. Inside you can view various furnished rooms with furniture, paintings and everyday objects from different periods. The castle was long owned by noble families, which has contributed to its well-preserved interior.
Around the castle lies an estate with a park, walking paths and water features. Visitors can take a peaceful walk here and view the castle from the outside. You can also visit Paviljoen Duivenvoorde, where you can be surprised by seasonal dishes – perfect for lunch, high tea or dinner.
